A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for extreme southeast Mississippi, southwest Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle until 6 PM CDT.
Pascagoula, MS, Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL are some cities included.
Scattered damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph will be possible with a line of strong to severe storms that is pushing east. A tornado or two and some instances of hail also can’t be ruled out.
