Tornado Watch Issued for Parts of Louisiana and Mississippi

Watch area and initial radar as of 10:38 AM CDT.

A tornado watch has been issued for east Louisiana and west-central Mississippi until 7 PM CDT.

Baton Rouge, LA, Lake Charles, LA, Alexandria, LA and Vicksburg, MS are some cities included.

A few tornadoes, some of which could be strong (EF-2+), and damaging wind gusts up to 75 mph are likely. There could also be isolated instances of large hail.
