Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Parts of Southeast Texas

A severe thunderstorm watch is now in effect for parts of southeast Texas until 3 PM CDT.

College Station and Houston are included.

A maturing squall line is currently making its way east.

The primary threat will be damaging straight-line wind gusts up to 70mph. However, large hail and a tornado or two can’t be ruled out.
