Tropical Depression Four Forms Overnight

Invest 94L managed to organize into Tropical Depression Four overnight.

As of the 11am EDT advisory, Tropical Depression Four was located at 13.2 degrees north and 42.6 degrees west, with a minimum central pressure of 1008 millibars and maximum sustained winds of 30mph.

Tropical Depression Four is not expected to attain tropical storm status, and will likely dissipate as it tracks generally west-northwest, into an increasingly hostile environment.

NOTE: Tropical Depression Four is not a threat to the United States at this time.
