Strong to Severe Storms Possible Today

A weak upper-level low will move East across the Central Gulf Coast today.

As the upper-low moves across the region it should cause scattered strong to marginally severe storms to develop across parts of Louisiana, Mississippi,  Alabama, and parts of the Florida Panhandle today.

However, it is important to note that the storms will be scattered in nature today and not everyone will receive severe weather or even rain.

Timing: The timing for storms today is between 11:00am CT and 6:00pm CT.

Threats: The primary threats with any strong to severe storms will be heavy rain, cloud to ground lightning, and damaging wind gusts.
