BREAKING: Invest 94-L Upgraded to Tropical Depression 4

The hurricane hunters have found that invest 94-L is now a tropical depression and it has been upgraded to tropical depression 4. 

Location: As of 4:00pm CDT TD4 was located over the Southwestern Gulf of Mexico at 19.9°N 94.7°W and is moving West at 8mph. Presently TD4 has a minimum pressure of 1009 millibars and maximum sustained winds of 50mph.

Forecast for TD4: Tropical depression for is expected to continue to move West over the next two days; and it is forecast to strengthen into a weak tropical storm with 40mph winds sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. If it does strengthen as forecast it would be named Danielle.

TD4 is expected to make landfall in Eastern Mexico sometime tomorrow.

Impacts: The primary impacts from TD4 will be heavy rainfall which could produce flash flooding and mudslides in Eastern Mexico.
